An easy tomato sauce great to replace bottled pasta sauce and great as the base to bolognese. Perfect for hiking if you pre-mix all the dry ingredients before you go. Then just add to boiling water and finish with olive oil and toss through your favorite pasta.

3 cups Water
4 tablespoons Tomato Powder
4 tablespoons Tomato Granules
2 tablespoons Red Bell Pepper (capsicum)
2 tablespoons Dehydrated Onion Chopped
2 tablespoons Granulated Garlic
1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
1/4 teaspoon Chilli Powder
1/4 cup Olive Oil
Salt and cracked Black Pepper
Bring water to the boil
Add all the dehydrated vegetables (Tomato Powder, Tomato Granules, Red Bell Pepper (capsicum), Onion Chopped, & Garlic Granules) to the boiling water and mix.
Bring to the boil then turn down to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes
Add Dried Oregano, Ground Cumin, & Chilli Powder and cook for a further 10 minutes
Add olive oil and season. (if too thick add a little water)
Now you have a tomato pasta sauce you can use as the base for all your recipes and dishes that need tomato pasta sauce.
